Innovative Polymers was founded in 1996 as a two-man outfit housed in a space of 100 square meters. The company began its operations by supplying a few local engineering companies with engineering plastics for fabrication purposes.
For the first 5 years, Innovative Polymers was mainly engaged in distributing ESD-safe and high temperature engineering plastics of major American and European manufacturers. We were able to achieve much success in expanding distribution networks in
South-East Asia where our in-depth knowledge of local culture, language and application-knowledge worked in our favour.
At the same time, end-users were beginning to recognize the value of our technical applications knowledge of engineering plastics. As a result, end-users began to engage in development works with Innovative Polymers to design-and-build factory fixtures. After many successful project implementations later, we are still helping our clients achieve breakthroughs in their manufacturing processes.
Due to the fast changing requirements of engineering plastics applications in the electronics manufacturing industry, we embarked on a program in 1998 to customize high performance polymer shapes. Equipped with prior extensive professional and work experience in the semi-conductor and chemical engineering fields, our “Research and Developments” resulted in very encouraging success. The adoption of our customized polymer shapes by a leading American MNC for its semi-conductor manufacturing marked the beginning of a new era for us.
In a span of about 10 years, Innovative Polymers has rapidly grown in our capabilities and business networks to comprise several subsidiaries and a strong following of vendors and clients spread over Asia, America and Europe.
